Preeti is the practice principal and founder of Smile in London. Her flare for dentistry and good patient care was recognised early on during her training, where Preeti received two personal letters of commendation of excellence for her achievements in conservative dentistry as well as acquiring excellence grades in her restorative clinical tests including anterior tooth restoration, root canal treatment and crowns. Her noticeable special skills in these areas led her to gain her Degree with Merit in the Restorative dentistry field.
Since graduating from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2004, Preeti has been committed to enhancing her special skills and to lifelong continuing professional development. After completing her Vocational training 2005, her strong enthusiasm for excellent patient care led her to achieve a certificate for Key skills in general dental practice in 2006. Soon after, she was awarded, by The Royal College of Surgeons, a Diploma of Membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK) in 2007.
Preeti’s passion for cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative dentistry led her to complete the Advanced Dentistry programme in 2008, presented by Dr Chris Orr (immediate past president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). Preeti is a Clear Step (Clear Brace) Orthodontic practitioner and a Zoom! Tooth Laser whitening practitioner. Preeti also carries out Botox anti-wrinkle treatment which can smooth out age-related wrinkles such as crows feet, frown lines or lines on the forehead.
Where I work: Full time at Smile in London Wanstead.
I have been working in general dental practice for 6 years.
Non dental interests: Painting, Movies, Trips to the country side, Family, Pets, good food
Preeti is known for her gentle nature and is well liked in the practice. She is patient, kind and has vast experience treating patients who are nervous of the dentist. If you are fearful of the dentist, Preeti is able to sedate you to a relaxed state before any dentistry is carried out. She is able to communicate in Punjabi and understands Hindi.
